hmmmmmmmm, pretty dope.
I dig the wack piano solo.

Dawww. I was going to hit up your track with a review but I wasn't sure if we were allowed to fondle each other...
i don't have a lot of knowledge in the classical field so I can't really critique anything
love this song though. reminds me of some of the songs in rise of nations. :)
Wow...thanks, man! Your review means a heck of a lot to me. Can't wait to hear your beach-inspired submission! ^_^
well this is lovely. great mix of different basses.
one little issue that made my ears twitch was that your kick drum had different volumes. it was quite distracting. (blame my amazing monitors :P). also, there is one saw bass that is overpowering a bit.
not a big fan of that chord progression for the breakdown.
you know what this needs? some high end pads for the climax. just to fill the mix a bit more.
at the end your track was pretty dam cool. good effort.
Thanks for the review Sequenced!
My kick has different volumes? Well that has definately got to be your monitors because the kick stays stays at the same level throughout the entire track xD However it is mixed at a much higher volume than the rest of the track. If you'd take all the compression of the master bus the kick would be almost twice as loud as the rest...
I actually like the chord progression during the breakdown, but I'm not satisfied with the way I executed it (that was the rushed part).
Thanks a lot for the critics man, I appreciate it a lot! :D
cool ideas.
that crash at 0:33 threw me off a bit. you could use some more high passed hihats in the background there too.
IMO, i think this track would sound a lot better if it was like, 20 clicks faster lol. I just feels to slow for me.
could use some more arpeggiated synths in the background too. that'll sound awesome.
woops. that high bass note at 3:04 was unnecessary. I know you were trying to provide a bit more variation on the bassline, but just keep it as it is. it sounds nice.
neways, good effort on this. now I wanna hear this song 20 clicks faster. ;)
thanks, I appreciate the notes
ah, this track got really cool around the 1:20 mark.I wish you kept going with the darkness bit for a bit more than what you had there.
melodies were well made. catchy, melodically logical, just what a chiptune needs. drums sounded fine.
if you ever do work on this track some more, I would love to hear a longer breakdown. that chord was just soo yummyand delicious for it not to be played longer.
Thanks for the kind words. Sometimes keeping the tastiest spots short keeps a listener coming back to listen again :)
