it's a bit muddy in low mids
it's a bit muddy in low mids
Yeah, for some reason whenever I make a song in Reason I can never figure out how to get a good mix
Welcome back old fart
Thank you sir... Why does everybody react to this one but not the NCS release I just had? :(.
Drums are too loud compared to your synths.
Yeah, I know... It was hard to made a decent mix...
Your instruments are too quiet. The guitar loop fill thing around 1 min has wrong notes.
Work on your dynamics control!
I see! It's nice to learn a thing from this, thanks!
Too much reverb on that bass.
I do not like that particular snare in the build up, sounds too flat.
Your mix gets cluttered with the raised cut off in your bass. Can hardly hear the drums.
One synth is oddly hard panned to the right.
thank you a lot, this criticism is very much appreciated!! will definitely be taking all of these and more into account when making similar projects like this in the future! as for the synth that was panned to the right, that was intentional! but relistening to it, it did sound quite a bit harsh, sorry about that! 100% using this review to improve later on though :D
Epic jam band sesh.
Thank you!! I actually recorded everything separately... It was like a mental jam :D
Top!!
Your sense of melody and structure is very mature, well done.
I bet this will be Top 3 for AIM.
Thanks a lot, Sequenced!!
Claps can be louder.
The 808 has too many notes for that portamento effect you have on it I think
yeah, went a little bit overboard with the amount of 808 notes, I don't know why but I go overboard with them a lot of the time, thanks for the feedback
Only thing I don’t like is the static quarter notes bass in the breakdown.
kinda ran out of ideas as to what to do with the bassline there, thanks for the critique
